10 Reasons To Get A Wedding Website Built – Part 1

One of the hottest new developments in wedding preparation is the wedding website, or wedsite. You might have heard about them, or even seen a few examples, but why do you need one? Here are ten reasons to get your own wedsite.

1) Keep Everyone Informed

You can use the site to keep people up to date with all your preparations and any last minute changes. The changes can be added quickly and then they are available anywhere in the world.

You could include information for your guests that reminds them of their special duties, what they have to do and when. Advice about the various customs and traditions that you will be following, and tips on how to dress will also make your guests feel less apprehensive about looking out of place during the wedding.

And if some of your guests don’t have access to the internet, you can print out the relevant part of the site and send it to them. And even if people lose the information you can send them another copy. The work is already done for you, which will remove much of the pressure from your shoulders.

All of that will help you to enjoy the time prior to the event and make your guests feel involved.

2) Provide Aditional Information For Guests

Stuffing your invitations full of additional info and directions can be difficult to coordinate and extremely time consuming. And besides, by the time you get the invitation, and various reply cards into the envelope, there isn’t much space left. And it’s hard to make such a bulky envelope look elegant.

Directions to the different venues (ceremony, reception etc) and local accommodation information can be added to your website where all your guests can see it. You can use an online map service or even scan a hand drawn plan into the site. Whatever option you choose, it certainly makes the invitation process easier and cuts down on postage costs for these bulky items.

Just include the address of your wedsite in your invitations and your guests will be able to find all the information they need.

Your could even include a page of frequently asked questions to help your guests. For example, Where should we bring wedding gifts? Are children allowed at the wedding? Will childcare be available? Would you prefer donations to a selected charity? etc etc

And if your wedding is to be held outside, your site can even provide a link for guests to see the local weather forecast.

3) Reply To Invitations

It gives your guests another way to accept or decline your invitation. And if they accept, you can collect their special requirements using an online form. Many people find this option quick and simple and would rather use it than having to mail their reply.

4) The Gift Registry

If you have your wedding present list registered with a store you can include an online link to that company. Guests who use your site will then find it easy to find the perfect gift. And to make things easier, they’ll be able to order your present online.

5) Not Everyone Can Attend

If some of the people you invite live a distance away, or even out of the country, they may not be able to attend your wedding. But with a wedsite, they’ll be able to follow every step of your special journey. The background details, picture of the engagement, the wedding ceremony, the reception, the honeymoon etc.

A collection of picture gallerys with added comments is a great way of saying thanks to everyone who send their best wishes/a gift but couldn’t make the wedding.

Dynamics of OneDimensional Maps

Dynamics of OneDimensional Maps

$189.58

The theory of onedimensional systems is one of the most efficient tools of nonlinear dynamics, as, on the one hand, it describes onedimensional systems fairly completely, and on the other hand exhibits all basic complicated nonlinear effects. This volume has two main goals. Firstly, it acquaints the reader with the fundamentals of the theory of onedimensional dynamical systems. Very simple nonlinear maps with a single point of extremum, also called unimodal maps, are studied. Unimodality is found to impose hardly any restrictions on the dynamical behaviour. Secondly, it equips the reader with a comprehensive view of the problems appearing in the theory of dynamical systems and describes the methods used for their solution in the case of onedimensional maps. Audience: This book will be of interest to researchers and postgraduate students whose work involves nonlinear dynamics. Author: Sharkovsky, A. N./ Kolyada, S. F./ Sivak, A. G. Selective Rendering for 3D Maps

Selective Rendering for 3D Maps

$114.71

Whereas classic maps provide a fine abstract representation of our world, besides a simple and efficient way to navigate in that world, they are of little use when we are unable to determine where we are standing on the map. On the other hand, mobile devices are potential sources of relevant information, representing an immense help in several locating related tasks, such as navigating rapidly around an unfamiliar environment and exploring it interactively, through the use of appropriate 3D models. However, these 3D models typically require significant computational resources making it hard to achieve highfidelity rendering of the maps at interactive rates. This book investigates how existing mobile devices could be provided with a perceptually high quality 3D virtual environment, based on the exploitation of identified limitations of the Human Visual System and the rendering of its corresponding key features through the use Selective Rendering techniques. Precisely, such a strategic and original process allows key features to be rendered in a higher quality, while the remaining parts can be rendered in low quality without the viewer being aware of this quality difference.
