Starcraft Maps Use Map Settings

Star Craft help please.?
Okay, so, i was making maps on campaign editor and i clicked on scenario from there i went to units and hero settings… i changed the attack of a marine by unclicking use default and chnaged the hit points to 100 for scvs. i saved closed out and opened starcraft and began to play on that map not online thought and it didnt work!!! whats wrong! the health is still 60!
what happens is it resets itself because it’s not a custom map, it’s a scenario.
you need to revamp a custom map or make your own in order to save it properly.
it also depends if you are playing on LAN or not.

Selective Rendering for 3D Maps $114.71 Whereas classic maps provide a fine abstract representation of our world, besides a simple and efficient way to navigate in that world, they are of little use when we are unable to determine where we are standing on the map. On the other hand, mobile devices are potential sources of relevant information, representing an immense help in several locating related tasks, such as navigating rapidly around an unfamiliar environment and exploring it interactively, through the use of appropriate 3D models. However, these 3D models typically require significant computational resources making it hard to achieve highfidelity rendering of the maps at interactive rates. This book investigates how existing mobile devices could be provided with a perceptually high quality 3D virtual environment, based on the exploitation of identified limitations of the Human Visual System and the rendering of its corresponding key features through the use Selective Rendering techniques. Precisely, such a strategic and original process allows key features to be rendered in a higher quality, while the remaining parts can be rendered in low quality without the viewer being aware of this quality difference. Change Detection in Animated Choropleth Maps. $115.71 Computer animation enables cartographers to visualize timeseries data as never before; we can build dynamic map sequences that congruently depict change over time. However, mapreaders have difficulty comprehending these animations, and they often fail to detect important changes between adjacent scenes, this is called change blindness. These potentially overwhelming perceptual burdens, such as change blindness, threaten the effectiveness of animated maps in which several important changes can occur simultaneously throughout the display. Animated maps also require viewers to not only notice changes but also understand the transitions within these dynamic displays. Graphic interpolation between display frames, also known as inbetweening or tweening, smoothes transitions and lengthens the duration of the transition between scenes in an animated map series. Previous cartographic literature suggests tweening as one potential solution for change blindness in animated cartography. This thesis tested the influence of change blindness on animated choropleth map reading and evaluated the influence of tweening to increase change detection abilities of map readers. Empirical results from this research indicate that map readers, 1) have difficulty detecting changes in these types of maps, 2) often fail to fully comprehend these maps, and 3) are influenced by the use of tweening between the scenes of the animated map. Scale (Map) $58.94 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The scale of a map is defined as the ratio of a distance on the map to the corresponding distance on the ground. If the region of the map is small enough for the curvature of the Earth to be neglected, then the scale may be taken as a constant ratio over the whole map. (A town plan would be an example). For maps covering larger areas, or the whole Earth, it is essential to use a map projection from the sphere (or ellipsoid) to the plane. Such projections inevitably involve distortion and the scale can no longer be considered as constant. It is then necessary to introduce the concept of a variable point scale (or particular scale) which is defined as the ratio of the length of a small line element emanating from a point on the map to the length of the corresponding line element on the surface of the Earth. In general the point scale will vary with the position of the point and also the direction of the line element. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F. The Generation of Depth Maps Via DepthFromDefocus $172.06 The principal aim of this study was to use the concept of image defocus related to feature depth in order to develop a system capable of converting a 2 dimensional greyscale image into a 3dimensional depth map. An advantage of this concept over techniques such as stereo imaging is that there is no socalled correspondence problem where the corresponding location of a feature or landmark point must be identified in each of the stereo images. The majority and the most successful of previous researchers in DfD have used some variation of a twoimage technique in order to separate the contribution of the original scene features from the defocus effect. The best of those have achieved results typically in the range of 1 to 2 error in the accuracy of depth estimation. This book presents a singleimage method of generating a highdensity, highaccuracy depth map via the evaluation of the edge profiles of a projected structured light pattern. The final solution generates a depth map of up to 240,000 spatially invariant depth estimates per scene image, with an accuracy of within +/ 0.5 over a depth range of 10cm.
