That happened to me with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the Raveonettes. I listened to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs back around 2001 then they got famous in 2003, and this guy was obsessed with Maps, so i was like argghh. Because i’m actually a pirate. i’m high.

They released two albums and five singles while still together, and have had two compilation albums issued since they split in 1986. Yeah Yeah Noh was formed by Derek Hammond (vocals, guitar) and John Grayland (guitar), with Adrian Crossan (bass) joining them for the first single.
