Gps Maps Dominican Republic

how can you create a GPS program that maps a specific town or country?
or does anyone know if one exist for the Dominican Republic. I wanted to look into GPS software specifically for the Dominican Republic.
thanks!
Your question is a bit fuzzy, but I’ll give you an answer.
A GPS program would be something like Garmin’s MapSource or Magellan’s Mapsend. Google Earth is just a map, which doesn’t include any specifics about the Dominican Republic. What kind of GPS unit are you using? Whatever software it is using, you can most likely purchase Dominican Republic maps for it.

History of the Dominican Republic $79.66 The Dominican Republic occupies the eastern twothirds of the island of Hispaniola, in the Greater Antilles. Successive waves of Arawak migrants, moving northward from the Orinoco delta in South America, settled the islands of the Caribbean. Around A.D. 600, the Tano Indians, a late Stone Age Arawak culture, arrived on the island, displacing the previous inhabitants. They were organized into cacicazgos (chiefdoms), each led by a cacique (chief). The final Arawak migrants, the Caribs, began moving up the Lesser Antilles in the 1100s, and were raiding Tano villages on the islands eastern coast by the time the Spanish arrived in 1492.
