Name four different types of maps (not map projections) and describe what makes that type of map different from others.
Well, there are topographical maps, that show you the changes in elevation – very important for long hikes & camping trips.
There are Geological maps, showing the *types* of terrain of an area.
There are climate maps – showing the general type of conditions for an area: Tropical, arid, tundra, etc.
There are geo-political maps, showing the jurisdiction of governments and borders.

Concept Maps by Ghanizadeh, Afsaneh [Paperback] $105.14 The study reflected in this book aims at addressing the issues related to the reliability and validity of adoption of concept maps to assess L2 reading comprehension. The concept map version utilized in this study was select and fillin (SAFI) to ensure objectivity and ease of scoring. In validation of the test, the endeavor was made to rigorously pretest the test through three separate pilot studies, to address validity from different angles, to investigate construct validity through think aloud procedure, and to further validate the test via a triplecomparison among three L2 reading test formats.
